Sunday Salon

This week I have been very busy reading in the evenings. It has been so cold here, all I have wanted to do is snuggle up to keep warm and read. I can't remember the last time, England was so cold, we have been hitting temps of -15C. I know some of you live in very cold places, but us Brits are not used to it.

I have finished two books this week.

The Point of Rescue by Sophie Hannah

Stori Telling by Tori Spelling.

The reviews are attached to the titles.

I am still reading Swallows and Amazons which I feel I need to read, rather than want to.

I am also reading the following two books.

American Gods by Neil Gaiman - I hassled my brother to lend this to me , after reading so many good reviews on it on here.

Ancestor Stones by Aminatta Forna - this was a book lent to me by a friend.

I look forward to reading what other people are reading this week.

  2. I happened upon your site by way of Lesa's Book Critiques and I just wanted to say "hi"

Your "name" caught my attention, as I used to be an avid scrapbooker. But alas, once I started teaching, my free time for crafts diminished considerably. I hope to find more time to catch up on my pictures this summer.

    Have a great Sunday!
