Saturday Scrapping!

I have decided that I want to set up a regular weekly post for my scrap booking, so every Saturday will now be known as Saturday Scrapping on my blog and this will be where I show the scrap pages I have produced during the week. I need to make myself a little logo to go with it, but I think my computer skills might not be able to cope with that - so any ideas how I can make a little logo will be appreciated.
I didn't realise how many book bloggers actually like to scrap, so if you would like to join in and make Saturday a scrapping day then please do so. If you put up any pics, I will try and link them into my post.

So here are my scrap pages for the week. So far, I have managed to create two pages. The first is my cake page, which features those lovely cakes I bought the other week and blogged about here. I love to use nice big lettering occasionally as they really stand out on the page. These letters have been hand cut, after using a Basic Grey alphabet as templates.

The second LO is for my aunts album and it show her and my late uncle with two of their granchildren. I used Cosmo Cricket paper and K and Co paper. I love the stamps I put round the edge and will definitely be using them more.
The quote reads ' A grandchild fills a hole in your heart you never knew was empty.' I think I mentioned before that it is very difficult to create scrap pages for someone else, as you are always lacking information about the pictures, so I would definitely recommend using quotes to give the layouts a little bit of journalling.
That's all for now, if you have any scrapbook pages to share, let me know and I will stop by your blog. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I used to scrapbook when I was younger but then it just went off. I've said it before and I'm going to say it again (and again): your scrapbook is marvellous!
