Excuse my absence

Sorry guys, but it looks like I might have to take a few days away from the computer.

Unfortunately our satellite TV has gone completely kaput and the only way anyone can watch any television is by using my computer to play BBC and ITV Player. So until the satellite is fixed, my computer has been taken over and I cannot get any internet time.

I am hoping that it will be fixed tomorrow, but not sure at the moment. I hope to catch up with you all soon.

  3. We don't realize just how dependent we are on the internet until we don't have it. I know I'd be going crazy. Hope you survive!

  8. I was wondering where you were. Glad that it's nothing more serious then some technical difficulties with your satelite tv. Always an added expense at this time of year, why so so many appliances wait until now before breaking down?

  9. Hope you'll get it fixed soon! In the meantime, I want to thank you for recommending me book swap sites to find the John Marsden book which is otherwise unavailable. I haven't browsed any yet, I need to find one which is in the European zone and not an Australian or North American one since it will cost me more than the book itself to send anything there. Yes, Danish Post is very expensive, which is annoying!

  10. I hate when things like that happen. I guess it's the price we pay for relying on computers and things. At least you'll get a lot of reading done, hopefully! I hope you can get back here quickly. We'll miss you but no worries, Vivienne, the light is always on =o)

I haven't been able to find the tv remote today, and it's been driving me crazy. I hadn't even thought about watching shows on the computer. :) Hopefully I'll find the remote before my husband gets home tonight. I'm sure it's probably somewhere in plain sight.
