Happy Thanksgiving.

Firstly happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. I hope you all had a good holiday and got to spend some quality time with the people you love.

I just wanted to give you a quick note to say that I probably won't be blogging now until next Wednesday. Some things have come up that really need my attention and to be honest I am not feeling too good either. I am an asthmatic and the weather has turned quite cold here, which has hit me straight in the chest. Energy levels are at a low, so I need to keep the energy I have to sort out a few things here.

I hope to be starting my Christmas journal on the 1st of December, so I will try and keep you posted on that. I also have some outstanding reviews which I will post next week.

I hope you all have a good restful weekend and I will see you next week.

  1. Wishing a wonderful Thanksgiving to one of my favorite book bloggers. Vivienne, I hope you feel better soon. It sounds like you need some time to relax and unwind. :)

  3. Total yuck for the ill sick feelings. I find winter colds to be quite bothersome.

One of the things that make me thankful is having international friends. I like to think that I'm not the typical American-centric individual, but realize time and time again I am when I have "oh yeah" moments when realizing that Thanksgiving (or insert whatever American idea-l) is not around the world.

    Cheers Viv!

  8. Hope you feel better soon Virginia - take care of yourself, there's a nasty bug doing the rounds. Both my older girls had it this week and it floored them.

  9. I know just how you feel having a chest infection myself. Thankfully I have several posts drafted and am just visiting as and when I feel a bit less breathless. Best wishes that you feel well soon, damn this awful English weather.

  11. I am not sure if wishes that you will feel better soon will be okay? My boyfriend's an asthmatic and I know how troublesome it can be.

I am looking forward to your Christmas journal!

  15. I hope that you have had a chance to rest and recuperate! I, too, am asthmatic and I know how it can zap your energy when you can't breathe well.

I am contemplating a Christmas journal as well, although I am not sure that I will make it this holiday season. I looking forward to reading your posts.

  19. Take care of yourself Viv--asthma is no fun and is something I am wondering if I am dealing with--kind of scary at times.

I am dumping my challenges for the rest of the year and for now focusing on some Christmas reads--just what I needed to get out of my reading slump.

    *hugs and smiles*
