Cover Lust 4

I have two gorgeous covers for you today from two up and coming British authors.

1) Wintercraft: Black Watch by Jenna Burtenshaw.

This is the second book in the trilogy that follows the dangerous journey of Kate Winters.  I have just finished the first book Wintercraft and I have to say it is absolutely fantastic. If you like dark fantasy, then you must read it! I will be reviewing Wintercraft later this week.

Wintercraft: Black Watch won't be out until April 14th, so go and buy the first book quick!

The US release date for the first book in the series is 21st June 2011 and the title has been changed to Shadowcry: The Secrets of Wintercraft, so my dearest American bloggers do look out for it.

Here is the blurb from Amazon.

Kate has escaped the clutches of the High Council and Silas has left Albion for the continent. But their lives are forever linked and as the veil weakens, causing Albion's skilled to fear for everyone's safety, Silas and Kate find themselves drawn together by the mysterious and corrupt Dalliah Grey.

2) Thirteen Secrets by Michelle Harrison

This is the final book in the trilogy that follows Tanya, Fabian and Red at the mysterious Elvesdon Manor. I was half way through the first book in the trilogy and enjoying it so much that I had to go out and buy the other two books. This series has been written for the 11+ age range, but I defy any adult not to fall in love with it.
Christopher Gibbs designed this stunning cover and you can find out more about how he designed it here.

Here is the blurb from Amazon.

Red is now living at Elvesden Manor under her real name, Rowan, and trying to put her past behind her. But staying on the straight and narrow isn't as easy as she had hoped...Hounded by fairy messengers who are trying to convince her to participate once more in the changeling trade, Rowan is haunted by dreams of the Hedgewitch's cottage and the chained-up Eldritch, who threatens revenge against her. Her past is about to catch up with her - can Tanya and Fabian prevent it consuming her altogether?

The first book in the series, 'Thirteen Treasures' is already available in the US, with the second book 'Thirteen Curses' being published this February.
These two trilogies are awesome and definitely worth investing in. I promise you  that you won't be disappointed.
