Really Random Tuesday

Really Random Tuesday is a meme created by Suko at Suko's Notebook which is a way to post odds and ends--announcements, musings, quotes, photos--any blogging and book-related things you can think of.

The winner of the Shadows On The Moon book giveaway is:

Laura H aka Sister Spooky

Congratulations Laura, an email is on its way to you for your address.

Have you heard about the new UK Book Tours website? Emma, Carly and Sya have taken over the organisation of the UK Book Tours. The lovely Lynsey Newton, had been doing a fabulous job of running it, however changes in her career have led to her passing the reins over to these lovely ladies.

They already have their first book tour up and running. If you would like to read Bumped by Megan McCafferty, then please click here.

I was asked to attend the Random House Children's  Book Brunch on Saturday and whilst there I got to see some fabulous book trailers which I thought I would share with you.
The first one showcases Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough, a rather haunting book based  on an old folk song. The voice you can hear in the trailer, is actually the author's daughter.

The second one is Trash by Andy Mulligan. This book is presently being turned into a film script by Richard Curtis, who is well known for such films as Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral.

For all of you Inheritance series fans, here is Christopher Paolini delivering the manuscript for the final book in the series. I have yet to read this series, but the more I hear about, the more I am being drawn in.

In case you missed it, I appeared on the Book Memoirs blog last week, talking about my favourite reads. Here is a link so that you can read it.

So that is all my random pieces on on place for this week, what random bits do you need to tell us about.
