Letterbox Love (13)

Britain at it's best, bringing you it's own version of IMM! All the books that came through my letterbox thanks to publishers and Royal Mail!
For Review
Devil's Bargain by Rachel Caine published by MIRA Ink in October. This will be my first ever Rachel Caine book and I am very excited. I am aware of all her wondrous series she already has out but I really wanted to start at the beginning of a new one. I can't wait to read this. Thank you MIRA!
Undercover Magic by Ellie Boswell - this was recently published by Atom and is the second book in this series. I really loved the first book and with the third one out this October I was desperate to catch up with the storyline. Thank you Atom!
The Diviners by Libba Bray was published by Atom in September. Libba Bray is one of those authors I have heard so much about but seems to have passed me by. This book is set in the 1920's so I shall be donning my flapper dress just to read it! Thank you Atom!
Black Spring by Alison Sproggan will be published in January 2013 by Walker Books and is an evocative reimagining of  Wuthering Heights. I was really laughing when I saw that the envelope was addressed to 'Dear Coven Member'! Thank you Walker Books!

NetGalley Review Books
The Madness Underneath by Maureen Johnson  - February 2013
I was jumping with joy to get approved to read this book! I loved The Name of the Star, the first book in the series and I can't wait to find out what happens next. This is published by Penguin Young Readers in the US and will be published by HarperCollins Children's Books in the near future.  Thank you Penguin Young Readers.
The Spirit of Christmas by Liz Talley - published by Harlequin on November 29th.
I know this is a Harlequin (Mills and Boons book) but they do write some gorgeous Christmas tales and I am getting rather festive already. Thank you Harlequin!

I have heard so many great reviews about this series that I was intrigued to read them. Normally they wouldn't be my type of book, but I am intrigued by these sweeping family dramas and want to give them a go.

I love the way Barry Hutchison writes and this one caught my attention after I heard that Laura from Sister Spooky was one of the main characters!

So they are all the books that have come into my house this week. What did you get?

  1. A good mix of books to read this week. I have to confess to not reading any Ken Follett book myself, but would be intrigued to know what you think! :-)
