Letterbox Love (15)

Britain at it's best, bringing you it's own version of IMM! All the books that came through my letterbox thanks to publishers and Royal Mail!  Also all the books I have bought this week - as if I didn't have enough.
For Review
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor - published by Hodder & Stoughton on the 8th November.
This book created some serious squeeing all over the blogosphere this week, as everyone has waited rather impatiently for the second installment in Laini's fantasy trilogy which began with the awesome Daughter of Smoke and  Bone. Thank you Hodder and Stoughton!
Silent Saturday by Helen Grant is published in April by Bodley Head and is the first book in the Forbidden Spaces trilogy by the author who brought us her outstanding first novel, The Vanishing of Katharina Linden, which was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal.  Thank you Bodley Head!
Infinite Sky by C.J. Flood will be published on the 14th of February by Simon and Schuster. I first saw this book  at the blogger event held at the Simon and Schuster offices in the summer and I was completely taken with it then. It is a 'poignant coming of age story' by a debut author. Thank you Simon and Schuster!.
 Bought
Vampire State of Mind by Jane Lovering - this week I discovered Choc Lit...
Baby Be Mine by Paige Toon - I haven't read any books by this author but I am hearing such good things and I want to read a few more chic lit books.
Rosie Hopkins' Sweet Shop of Dreams by Jenny Colgan - I actually just want to eat this book!
Midnight for Charlie Bone by Jenny Nimmo - I wanted to read a paranormal series aimed at 9 to 12 year olds  and this one popped up in my search.
Library books
Save the Cat by Blake Snyder and Breathing Life Into Your Characters by Rachel Ballon were both recommended to me through Twitter in my search for excellent books on the craft of writing.

Kindle Buys
The Untied Kingdom by Kate Johnson
Another book I discovered while searching through the Choc Lit website. The Choc Lit Kindle books are all  priced under £2 at the moment....

  3. Baby Be Mine is amazing, but I'd recommend reading Johnny Be Good first as BBM follows it. You should experience the awesome from the beginning of Meg and Johnny's story! :)
