Letterbox Love

Britain at it's best, bringing you it's own version of IMM! All the books that came through my letterbox thanks to publishers and Royal Mail!  Also all the books I have bought this week - as if I didn't have enough.
 For Review:
Seeking Crystal by Joss Stirling which I reviewed on Friday. Thank you Oxford University Press.
Pantomime by Laura Lam is published by Strange Chemistry and won't be out until next year but I hope to be reading and reviewing this in the next couple of weeks. Thank you Strange Chemistry.
Net Galley
Slowly stocking up on my Christmas reads. I got this one from Netgalley. The Bridge by Karen Kingsbury is published by Howard Books in October.
ReaditSwapit
I have wanted to read this for awhile, especially after watching someone I met on holiday devour the whole set of chunksters in two weeks!
Bought for Kindle
Shoeless Joe by W.P. Kinsella resulted in a lot of squeeing in this house. If you loved the Field of Dreams film starring Kevin Costner, then this is the book for you. The film was based on this book and on reading the first page, it is clearly obvious that passages quoted in the film were taken directly from the book.
Witch Hunt by Syd Moore - I have wanted to read this since reading Dot Scribbles review of it. She described it as a Susan Hill kind of scary book. It has just been published by Avon.
Bright Young Things by Scarlett Thomas - an author I have keep meaning to read.
I totally blame Non from Catnip for the Dodie Smith purchases. Catnip Publishing recently brought out one of Dodie Smith's children novels and I found myself searching for her older books. I was really happy to find these three books recently republished by Corsair and only £1.99 each for the Kindle version.  I loved I Capture The Castle; it has to be one of my favourite books ever, so I was really happy to get hold of these to read.
Kindle Freebies.
Carolyn from Book Chick City recently added these to her Kindle Freebies page and I was intrigued by these books. I don't normally read self published books and I am aware that a few of these are, but as everyone seems to be giving it a go, I thought I would down load them. Though any self published authors reading this, please don't bombard me with requests, as I would rather choose the ones I read, that way there is no pressure on me.

That's all for me this week. What did you get?
