Chuck A Book with Annabelle from Read, Write and Read Some More

Today on the blog I am happy to have Annabelle from  Read,Write and Read Some More
1) The best book you have ever read.
My Photo
This is such a hard question but I’m going to have to pick Wuthering Heights By Emily Bronte. It had such an impact on me. It’s a book that really makes you think and I think more teens need to read it and see why this is such a brilliant classic. The way the story is told is just brilliant and the whole plot is hauntingly beautiful. It’s a book I could read again and again.

2) A book you loved from your childhood.
The Worst Witch By Jill Murphy. It’s probably one of the only books I read while I was at primary school and I even have a copy now that’s falling apart. It was the book I could read multiple times and even today I still love it!
The Worst Witch (Worst Witch, #1)
3) A book that made you laugh.
The book that really stands out in my mind is the Harry Potter series. I know the books are full of serious matters and dark topics but at times it could be rather funny. I remember laughing out loud when reading Order of the Phoenix, when at the end that brain gets attached to Ron’s face! Gosh, I want to laugh out loud now! It’s a shame they missed that out of the movie.
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)
4) A book you could not finish.
It’s rare for me not to finish a book, so I have a very small selection I didn’t finish. One is North and South By Elizabeth Gaskell. I loved the TV series and thought the book would be good, I got 150 pages in and I just couldn’t keep going. Another is The Scorpio Races By Maggie Stiefvater! I just really couldn’t get my mind into it.
North and South
5) A book that made you swoon.
If I Die By Rachel Vincent! One word, Tod! Now he is just perfect! Tod just gets better with each book!
If I Die (Soul Screamers, #5)
6) A book you can’t wait to read.
Crown of Embers By Rae Carson. Fire and Thorns was incredible and I can’t wait to see where Elisa is taken next.
Crown of Embers (Fire and Thorns, #2)
7) A series you have read and loved.
The Women of The Otherworld series By Kelley Armstrong is my all-time favourite series! The last book came out this year and I really didn’t want to say goodbye to these characters. I recommend them to all paranormal fans!
Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1)
8) A book that made you cry.
I don’t cry when reading books but I have a couple of times been on the verge of tears. The most recent cause was Pushing the Limits By Katie McGarry. The Characters are put through so much and there is so much pain, it’s hard not to feel emotional when reading it.
Pushing the Limits (Pushing the Limits, #1)
9) Your guilty pleasure book.
I’m going to choose To Kill A Mockingbird. It was the book I had to read for my GCSE’s. I’ve read it so many times that I’m very attached to it. It’s one of those books I will never forget and every time you read it, you learn new life lessons. There’s always something new to discover in the book.
To Kill a Mockingbird
10) A book that took you out of your comfort zone.
For this I’m going to pick White Crow By Marcus Sedgwick. I’d read an extract before I even bought the book and it was quite frightening and I will never forget it. When I got the book, for the first time ever I was scared to begin reading. I was burning with curiosity but I was scared of what other horrors the book held. Alas it wasn’t as bad as I thought but the worry I felt before reading, hadn’t occurred before then or ever since.

Great selection there Bella. I loved To Kill A Mockingbird too. I haven't read any books by Kelley Armstrong but I do think I need to rectify this soon.
