Letterbox Love (21)

Britain at it's best, bringing you it's own version of IMM! All the books that came through my letterbox thanks to publishers and Royal Mail!
For Review:
Skinny by Donna Cooner is published by Egmont on the 4th February. This is written by an American debut author who knows all about the subject of weight as she was a gastric band patient herself in the past.
Dark Warning by Marie-Louise Fitzpatrick is published by Orion Children's  Book in January. I am bit confused by this book as I am sure it has been out before but Amazon is telling me no where as Goodreads is agreeing me. The main character can see events before they happen, so I am excited to read how this one turns out.
The Hanged Man Rises by Sarah Naughton. Another debut author brought to us by Simon and Schuster. This will be published on the 28th February and is a creepy supernatural thriller set in Victorian London!
Survive by Alex Morel is another debut author, this time published by Egmont in February. This book is about a plane crash and has been described as a combination of Touching the Void and The English Patient. Razorbill/Penguin have bought the rights in the US.
In the Shadow of Blackbirds by Cat Winters has been on my wishlist for ages. It will be published in the UK in April by Amulet. The cover is to die for and the story takes us back to 1918 to an alternate world which seems to be on the verge of an apocalypse.
Vortex by Julie Cross - firstly a big squee for this one. This is the second book in this series and I loved the first book, Tempest which came out last year. This is time travel on an epic scale. Published by Pan Macmillan and out right now!

Net Galley
Sister Assassin by Kiersten White will be published by HarperCollins UK in February. I do believe it is called Mind Games in the US. Two sisters looking out for each other in this YA crime thriller.
Riptide by Lindsey Scheibe published by Flux Books in May 2013. A surfing story *claps hands with glee*
Speechless by Hannah Harrington is published by Mira Ink in February. This is the second book by this author who debuted last year with the haunting Saving June. Deals with gossiping on a grand scale.
The Next Forever by Lisa Burstein is published in January by Entangled Publishing. I don't know a lot about Entangled Publishing but their name keeps popping up among bloggers lately, so I am intrigued by this one. Apparently one night in college can change everything...
