This week I received two big parcels of books from Atom. I get very excited when lot so of books come in at once.
French Kiss (Diary of a Crush) by Sarra Manning. This will be published on the 30th May. The Diary of a Crush trilogy has already sold over 37,500 copies in the UK alone and was voted one of the UKYA’s  Top 100 Teen Book of all time. This book should bring back fond memories of teens from the early 2000s when the romance between Edie and Dylan appeared monthly in the magazine, Just Seventeen. There will be a special ebook novella coming out soon, Diary of a Grace, which follows Poppy’s little sister, Grace.
The Rising by Kelley Armstrong is the gripping conclusion of the Darkness Rising trilogy. I own the first book in this series but I have never got around to reading it, so this might be the incentive I need. Published on the 30th April.
If I Should Die by Amy Plum – *swoons* How long have I waited for this book??? With the dramatic ending of the second book in the series, I can’t wait to find out what will happen next. I love this series and I will be sad to see it finish. This is published on the 2nd of May.
The Red Plague Affair by Lilith Saintcrow. This is the second book in this series. The first is The Iron Wyrm Affair which I haven’t read. It will appeal to steampunk fans, especially anyone loving Gail Carriger’s Parasol Portectorate series.  Published on the 21st May.
Inferno by Sherrilyn Kenyon is the fourth book in The Chronicles of Nick series. I do have the whole series and really need to start reading these soon. Published 9th of April.
Tempest Reborn by Nicole Peeler is the final novel in the Jane True series. I read the first book in this series last year while on holiday and I’m looking forward to getting the second book soon. Published on the 28th May.
The Shambling Guide To New York City by Mur Lafferty, has been described as what would happen if Buffy grew up, got therapy and found a real job! The author is the editor of Escape Pod magazine and the host of the Angry Robot Books podcast. This will be published in May.
Hot Blooded by Amanda Carlson is the second book in the series and has drawn comparisons to Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series. This is a full on action adventure series with lots of monsters and demons. Published on the 23rd April.
Thank you Atom for all of these books this week.

Finally I can admit to having a copy of The Night Itself by Zoe Marriott. This is an extra early copy and I’ve received it with a few other bloggers for a very special reason, which you will soon find out about. Published in July, I can’t wait to read the first part of Zoe’s trilogy!
Another early review copy – All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill is published in August. Described as  The Hunger Games with a dash of Doctor Who, only much sexier and with a mind bendingly clever plot. Can’t wait to read this too.

I received these two books from Pan Macmillan.
Railsea by China Mieville published in April. I have been waiting to read this book for ages. I loved Un Lun Dun by China Mieville so I am excited to read the author’s teen novel.
Kite Spirit by Sita Brahmachari is published in May. Isn’t this cover just gorgeous! The author had drawn on their own experiences as a mother to write this book. How a young girl deals with the death of her best friend on the eve of their first GCSE exam.

You Don’t Know Me by Sophia Bennett is published by Chicken House in May. This is the story of what would happen if you betrayed your best friend, on TV in front of millions. The whole world would line up to judge you! I didn’t realise that Sophie was the 2009 Times/Chicken House Children’s Fiction winner with her debut novel Threads.
So some fabulous books to get my teeth into. Thanks for stopping by.
