Dog Lost UK

I was all prepared to write a post about my weekly highlights today, but I am struggling to be jolly about anything at the moment.  I have something else I want to talk about. I rarely write personal posts, but I felt this was something I needed to share. I’ll try  not to make it overly personal, because I know how much pain this family are going through  at the moment.
As many of you know through my tweets and retweets this week, a friend lost her puppy, Pip, on the beach, on Monday morning. I’m not going to go into the details of what happened, I just want to let you know that little Pip was found dead on the beach yesterday.
I don’t want to impose on anyone’s grief in this situation, but my heart feels broken for them. I know how much love and happiness Pip gave to their lives in the short time she was here and my thoughts are with them at this time.
It is sad to see that any animal can be lost in this way and it makes me want to do something positive. This is the only way I know. By giving my voice to a cause that every animal lover in the UK should join. Dogs Lost UK are a life line to people who have lost their beloved dogs, and I want to make more people aware of their existence.  I am amazed by the tireless effort put in by the volunteers and team at Dog Lost UK in helping in the search for Pip.
If you haven’t ever visited their website, then I urge you to  click on the following link.
Until Monday, I had never heard of them, now I am overwhelmed by their hard work and generosity.  They are the largest lost and found dog service in the UK and they work for free. If you know anyone who has lost a dog, then this is where you  need to direct them to. If you love dogs as much as I do, then I beg you to become a member and help the search for dogs that are missing in your area.  I have joined and will do as much as I can to help reunite dogs with their owners. Please help to give Dog Lost UK a bigger voice by sharing this post.
