‘Where is it?’ A voice hissed in Jessica’s ear.
A figure crouched beside her pillow in the darkness. She awoke in full panic mode and hurtled out of her bed. She lunged for her diamante key ring: it fired an electric current that would poleaxe her attacker instantly, no problem.

Summary
Models, spies and lipstick gadgets in this fast-paced teen series. Supermodel Jessica Cole has no intention of ever spying again after she was nearly killed by an embittered ex-model and a rogue MI6 agent. That is until she's blackmailed into posing undercover as bodyguard to a very rich fellow model. What seems like a simple job aboard a luxurious yacht in Monaco soon turns into a deadly mission to stop the most dangerous weapon in the world falling into the wrong hands. Jessica will need every gadget in her make-up bag if she wants to get out of this one alive.

I used to think it would be really cool to be a spy, but after living with Jessica for the last three days, I might give it a miss. Jessica’s life is way too much of a rollercoaster for me. She must have nerves of steel to cope with all the dramas and dangerous situations she constantly gets thrown into. There are lots of nearly accidents for her, which left me holding my breath! This book isn’t fast-paced, so much as high speed!
Jessica comes across just like any teenager. Only she isn’t. She descends from a long line of agents and knows her way around some rather impressive gadgets.  She could easily be James Bond’s daughter. In fact, I would actually go as far to say that Jessica is the female teenage equivalent of James Bond. I loved all the cool gadgets she got to use. I think my favourite was probably the rather clever necklace she wore, which saved her life.
Jessica really doesn’t know who to trust. The people she thinks are on her side, turn out not to be, where as some of the bad people aren’t as evil as she thinks. I thought Kat was a great character. She really played the spoilt child well.
This book sparkles with high glamour as we  sweep through the modelling world. There are jewels and gems in every direction, with a ghostly figure responsible for their theft.
I really enjoyed this book and I look forward to seeing what happens with these characters in the next book, especially after the rather surprising ending. If you are looking for a high impact, spy thrilling chase, then this book is definitely for you.
