Blogger Island Books with Sofia from The Reading Fangirl

Blogger Island has a new castaway today. Book blogger, Sofia from The Reading Fangirl. I wonder how she will cope with so few books! I must make sure no one on the island is sharing their books out...
When I saw this blog post idea around on Twitter, I knew that I wanted to have a go at it simply because I wanted to see what I would pick. After a lot of deliberating, I have narrowed my list of books down to 5 books that I simply cannot live without.
My first pick is probably my favourite book of all time and that is Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. It’s unreal how much I love this book.  This book has taught me so much about life and people that I just can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t read it. If I had to pick a specific version, it would be my UK special edition that is signed.
My next one is Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins. This is my most reread book of all time and I can’t even remember how many times I have read this book. Honestly, what is not to love about this book? Stephanie Perkins is the queen of contemporary romances and this book was honestly perfect.
My third pick is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by JK Rowling. Does this one need an explanation? Harry Potter is the reason that I am where I am today.
Next, I would pick The Sin Eater’s Daughter by Melinda Salisbury. I have been obsessing over this book for the last couple of months and at this moment of time, I can’t imagine not having it in my life. The plot of this book is just mind blowing and the writing is exquisite.
My final pick would be Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. I love this whole series for various reasons but this one is my favourite. The characters in this series are superb and the world is incredibly unique.  I cannot survive without Celaena Sardothien in my life.

So those are my 5 books that I would NEED to have with me on an island!
