Cover Reveal - Instructions For A Second-Hand Heart by Tamsyn Murray

I am super excited to share this with you today!!!! When Tamsyn asked me if I would do her cover reveal, I was over the moon!!!!
And here it is for everyone to see.
Instructions For A Second-Hand Heart by Tamsyn Murray.
 Isn't it gorgeous???
I personally can't wait to get my hands on a copy of this book!
The book will be published on the 1st November by Usborne Children's Books. I don't know if I can wait that long to read it.
The cover was designed by Hannah Cobley.

Want to know what the book is about?
Here's the blurb.
Imagine you were dying. Every day, a bit more time slips away...and then a miracle happens and everything changes. Suddenly, you have to learn how to live.

That's exactly what happens when Jonny gets a new heart. But having a future takes a bit of getting used to - would tracking down his donor help him to feel more comfortable with his second-hand heart?

Niamh's future looks different too - she's struggling with the tragic death of her brother. So when a mysterious boy starts paying her compliments, she's curious and flattered.

Jonny only wants to find his donor – he doesn't plan on falling in love. And Niamh just wants to feel whole again – she doesn't plan on falling for anyone either. But where matters of the heart are concerned, they both soon learn that nothing goes to plan…

A stunning, tear-jerking novel about grief, guilt, and the unpredictability of love.

I asked Tamsyn what she thought about the cover. She said -
"This is my first Teen/YA book for five years and it has taken me four long years to complete, so I was understandably keen that the cover reflected the book inside. Thankfully, I think it does - in fact, I actually can't tell you how much I love it! The really weird thing is that I had an idea in my head for a papercut heart on the cover but didn't mention it to my publisher, so I was delighted to see our thoughts had gone in the same direction. I especially love the text on the back of the cover - I think it really captures the story and I'm hoping everyone else agrees."

Tamsyn's editor at Usborne, Stephanie King, said,
"Instructions for a Second-Hand Heart is a compelling story of loss and hope, with a quirky, unconventional love story at its core. I fell in love with Jonny and Niamh's story, and can't wait for readers to take these gorgeous characters to their hearts too."

I think this book is going to be really popular and I look forward to reading it soon.
Make sure you tell Usborne and Tamsyn what you think of the cover as they would love to hear from you.
