Looking forward to your thoughts on those.Ana S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/16092495983972185943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963292547354990076.post-29499256112844777412009-02-27T19:25:00.000+00:002009-02-27T19:25:00.000+00:00It's funny you should mention Celia Rees, as I kee...It's funny you should mention Celia Rees, as I keep meaning to go and request that Bailey's Game book you recommended. I need a new book to read. I'm slogging my way through a history book at the moment, and whilst it's interesting, it's pretty hard going. I will do it this week!

So looking forward to Scrap Club. xxAnnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04518608982068209228noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2963292547354990076.post-22822221546104637942009-02-27T13:45:00.000+00:002009-02-27T13:45:00.000+00:00Alice Hoffman is one of my favourites. I haven't ...Alice Hoffman is one of my favourites. I haven't read Skylight Confessions though. Aquamarine was fun, though I enjoyed Incantation and The Green Angel more.

I don't remember what every Alice Hoffman book I've read is about, but I remember the feeling that I get when I read them. I like the magical realism in her books. The relationships are usually strange.

Property Of, her first novel I found to be a little strange. At Risk was incredibly sad. Blackbird House is a series of short stories about the same house over the years. Here On Earth is meant to be inspired by Wuthering Heights but I still liked it anyway (didn't care for WH), I remember liking Blue Diary, Turtle Moon, and The Ice Queen.Michelle Fluttering Butterflieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08793681725475475156noreply@blogger.com
