I am so excited to be part of #TheGraces cover reveal today!
I've been excited about this book since I first heard about it last year and we are coming closer and closer to the publication day in September.
So here is the cover for THE GRACES by Laure Eve!
Isn't it AMAZING??? It just makes me want to read it even more. I can't wait to find out what the connection is with the shells and the feathers. The cover was designed by Will Steele and Jan Bielecki, under direction from Naomi Colthurst and I think they did an amazing job.
As you can see on the spine, the words "Everyone Says" and "Were Witches" aren't very prominent. That's because Faber and Faber having been creating their own magic. These words will be laminated on, appearing very shiny, but not actually printed on the main cover. So when you walk past the cover in a book shop and the spine catches the light, the words will appear by magic! I can't wait to see this and test it out.
Also Hannah Love, Children's Publicity Manager at Faber and Faber, has mentioned that there will be lots and lots of gold foil on the cover too!
