Halloween Reads!

Happy Halloween to you all! As it is one of my favourite days of the year, I thought I would share some of my favourite Halloween reads with you that I shared all last week on Twitter. But not only my reads, I shall also be sharing the books chosen by two of my Amazing Book Awards partners.
As some of you may have read on Twitter recently, I've joined the Sussex Amazing Book Award team. This means I will be an integral part of the award system going forward, covering all their social media. Next year is the 10th anniversary of the awards and we are already working on the plans to make it MEGA! If you want to know more about the awards, you can read all about it on the website, or follow us on Twitter and Instagram.

So along with my lovely partners in crime, Sally and Amanda, here are our favourite Halloween reads.
Sally's Halloween Reads
Hi! Sally here. For Halloween I’d DEFINITELY recommend titles in the RED EYE Series from Stripes. There’s a HUGE range of stories there, but my fav’s would be The Haunting by Alex Bell and Fir by Alex Gosling. SOOOOO CREEEPY!!!

Rachel's Halloween Reads
Hi Rachel here,
My first Halloween recommendation is The Dark Behind the Curtain by Gillian Cross – it’s a dark, sinister, twisting tale that will leave you feeling the collywobbles, the heebie-jeebies and very very afraid of the dark.
My second Halloween recommendation is The Enemy Series by Charlie Higson. SO dark! SOO disturbing! SOOOO scary! Don’t get attached to ANYONE!! Think Walking Dead, Think Lord of the Flies. Think of leaving your bedside light on.
Viv's Halloween Reads
Hey, me again!
I love a bit of witchcraft around Halloween, so I would recommend Anna McKerrow's
Greenworld trilogy. Anna knows her witchcraft!

And if you are looking for more witchery books, don't forget the The Witch's Kiss Trilogy by sisters, Katharine and Elizabeth Corr.
A firm favourite of mine is Unrest by Michelle Harrison. This book really scared the pants off me! An excellent read along the lines of Susan Hill and Michelle Paver.
And my last recommendation is Say Her Name by Juno Dawson. If you are desperate for something to scare the pants off you. This is the book to read.
I hope you all have an amazing Halloween. Let me know what you might be reading.
