Hoorah! I finally got off my lazy butt and did some scrapbooking!
Well I wasn't really lazy, just a bit disorganised with my time.
Anyway, it was scrap club last Saturday and I spent a lovely day with my fabulous scrapping friends and made 3 layouts. I can't tell you how much I enjoy these days and would highly recommend any lonely scrappers to find a club to go to. I get to catch up on all the gossip, have a giggle and usually get 3 to 4 layouts done, which then allows me to come home relaxed and refreshed. Our next scrap club is not until September now, so I am going to have to try and fit some scrapping in during the day and attempt to stay off the computer a bit. Yeah like that is going to happen!
Here is a layout of the girls going back quite a few years now, when we went to Disney World our holiday. The picture was taken in Epcot and shows the girl eating Mickey Mouse chocolate ice lollies.
My lovely friend Fiona, showed me how to make my plain flowers have a more 3D effect, just by rolling over them with a pen lid whilst laying them on a piece of sponge. What a difference it makes.
I had to show a closeup of this wonderful cupcake paper I bought on Saturday. It is from the DCVW The Sweet Stack and it is full of scrumptious papers with glitter added too. It is just edible!
Beautiful pages Viv. I love that photo of the seal - amazing story, too.
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing picture with that seal - definitely looking straight out of the page.
ReplyDeleteScrap Club sounds like a lot of fun. I don't scrapbook, but I'm sure I would if my son were younger.
ReplyDeleteWow, you do such beautiful work! Thanks for sharing. These photos and all the scrapping you have done will be treasured by your girls for years to come. Have a great week!
