California Week coming very soon!

Howdy folks!
I am quickly packing up my winnebago ready for  a week of summer sunshine in good old California!
To celebrate the publication of Keris Stainton's new book 'Emma Hearts LA', I am flying the flags for the whole Californian state for one week and one week only. From the 4th to the 10th June, the blog will be a California only zone!

I will give you the low down on all the good things about California from books to places, from films to film stars! Keris Stainton will be stopping by to tell us all about her recent trip to L.A. for research purposes.  I even have a real Californian coming on the blog to tell us what it's really like to live there. There might even be a giveaway! Now if I could just track down Luke Perry (Beverly Hills 90210 god!) for a special appearance that really would be the icing on the cake!  A girl can dream can't she! I mean I will be in the land where dreams really do come true!

The following books will be featuring on the blog during California Week.
Emma Hearts LA by the fabulous Keris Stainton - a leading voice in UK YA! Her third book to tantalize our tastebuds with.
This is published by Orchard Books on the 7th June.
Evermore by Alyson Noel is the first book in The Immortals series. One I have been meaning to read for quite some time.
LA Candy is the first book in a trilogy by Lauren Conrad, who has experienced a lot of what occurs in this book. She wanted it to reflect her life while working on the Hills.

I can't wait to  botox the frown lines, suffer liposuction on the thighs, dive into a VAT of fake tan and head off in my van for a week of California dreaming! Wanna come with me???

( A very big thank you to my lovely friend @drysfa for making the original American Journey logo)
